As a cooperative, everything we do is for our members. Every year, we put millions of dollars back into our community in the form of capital credits, student scholarships, and donations to local organizations.

Our History
Six decades of dedicated service.
Our story begins in 1962, when InterBel Telephone Cooperative was incorporated under the leadership of General Manager JR Pitman. We connected our first members to telephone service two years later, and we’ve continued to innovate in the six decades since.
As the telecommunications industry has evolved over the years, so have we. We began delivering internet service in 1998, and in 2011, we were the first in Montana to discontinue dial-up internet service and convert all customers to broadband using DSL. We are once again leading the pack with our commitment to equip the entire town of Eureka and our surrounding communities with fiber by the end of 2022.
From party line telephone service to lightning-fast fiber internet, we promise to continue progressing with technology in order to meet the demands of our members.
